Delulu as Solulu

In the immediate term, we usually need something to look forward to , something to keep us going,  something which maybe even at times prevents us from looking too far ahead. In the short term, we are driven by "incentives", sometimes external. Sometimes by our own set patterns of habits and thought processes which to our own mind,  create internal incentive structures to do certain things or not do certain things.  Many a time we follow the path of least discomfort In the medium to long term,  we are driven by goals. Some of us have speicific ones in mind. We hope to get there but if we don't,  we probably move to a newer goal. Because we do need some kind of end "whats the point of this" in our own mind , for us to go about with conscious action when there isn't something immediately to look forward to and incentive structures don't help with anything other than doing just about enough to avoid pain.  And in the long super long term. Emotional fuel

Have lots of thoughts in my mind on a whole host of topics in the last few weeks but just haven't got the motivation,  inspiration or the emotional fuel to put those into words... Instead,  you focus your cognitive effort on more important things Frameworks and heuristics are to minimize compute effort. You can't think of all problems from first principles, so you go by things that you have formed in your brains as rules before,  so that you don't have to overspend compute effort unless you want to super optimize for accuracy Discipline and patience is an opportunity loss minimizing strategy. You don't want to give up on something that maybe working too soon ,and gi...
